Your Carine Dental Surgery Experience
Visiting With Our Carine Dentists
When you arrive at our Carine family dental practice for the first time, you’ll find that our facility shares a reception area with a neighbouring health services facility. Once you step inside, just come by the appropriate desk to check yourself in.
We tailor our services based on what’s affecting your smile.
First, we’ll have you complete a medical history and smile assessment form. Collecting this information from you helps our Carine dentists to gain a greater vision of what is affecting your smile and your motivation behind scheduling an appointment.
Items to Bring With You
If you carry private health insurance, please bring your card along with you so that we can process any on the spot claims. When possible, it can also be useful to bring your previous dental records to your visit. Should you need assistance with gathering this information, you can contact Carine Dental Surgery directly prior to your scheduled appointment.
All of our new patient forms are available for you to download, so that you can complete them in the convenience of your own home and bring them with you. While we try to keep waiting time to a minimum, we do have free WiFi and drinks available for your convenience.
What to Expect
Please reserve approximately 45-60 minutes for your initial visit with us. If you have not had any dental x-rays taken within the past 24 months, we will recommend taking new ones to assess areas not visible during the clinical portion of your exam. For patients who are up to date on their regular dental cleanings, we may also be able to clean your teeth at this appointment.
When necessary, a second appointment will be scheduled for any recommended treatment or more involved scale and clean. We will let you know how much time is necessary and all of the specifics regarding this visit prior to you booking it.
Insurance and Financial Information
Carine Dental Surgery is a preferred provider for HBF and Medibank Private, as well as a participating provider for patients that carry CBHS. Patients who carry Department of Veterans’ Affairs plans are warmly welcomed as well. All claims are filed on the spot through our in-house HICAPS machine.
